The 15th Taipei Film Festival (TFF) will kick off on June, 28th and run through July 20th. It was announced today (March, 22nd) that Joseph Chang and Amber Kuo, who were respectively awarded as the Best Actor and Supporting Actress at the Taipei Film Awards last year, are to serve as the festival ambassadors of 2013. Chang's first feature film Drop Me a Cat was premiered at TFF in 2003. He has also been the ambassador of the Festival in 2006, making him the first two-time spokesperson for this grand event. Kuo, a first-timer to promote the festival, has been previously awarded Best New Talent Award for Au Revoir, Taipei in 2010 and Best Supporting Actress for LOVE in 2012.
The two ambassadors will star in the promotional video directed by the innovative director of Young Dudes, DJ Yin-Jung Chen. She will cooperate again with her former colleagues, the Hong Kong-based rock duo Soler, and Best Cinematography winner of 2012 Taipei Film Awards, Patrick Chow, infusing her unique vision to create this original short film. This video is set to premiere in this April.
